" Send page by e-mail " and the " Send link by e-mail " are grayed out

IE9 is set as default. ( I also have Firefox, but rarely used and not set as default.)
Windows Live Mail is set as default.
Start > Default Programs > Associate a file type or protocol with a pogram > MailTo ... Current Default is Windows Live Mail

In IE9, the " Send page by e-mail " and the " Send link by e-mail " are grayed out.
    Same situation under Page.

Just did the virus scan with Malwarebytes..... clean.
Sfc /scannow ... no integrety violations.
Removed temp files etc etc with CCleaner.

    Any solutions ?

I have figured out the answer.
The only one option I did not try turns out to be the answer.......

Start > Default Programs > Set program access and computer defaults > Custom > under Choose a default e-mail program, dot Windows Live Mail > OK

    " Send page by e-mail " and the " Send link by e-mail " are grayed out-image-66.png
