Yahoo Mail

I am not sure where to go to get help on Yahoo Mail. I downloaded the newest upgrade (don't know how to tell what version it is), but I keep getting errors that it cannot load, change your password, url not available, etc. I just keeping fooling around with it and I finally get my Yahoo mail. I would appreciate it if someone could direct me to where I can post this. Thanks.

Probably best to visit a yahoo mail forum or google yahoo mail issues.
Do you see any option to return yahoo mail to the previous version?

Here's a response from Yahoo Answers. Probably not the answer you were looking for, but there's some help available:

CAN I SWITCH BACK TO A PREVIOUS VERSION OF YAHOO MAIL?

"No. We have removed the "Return to Original Mail" link from the help menu as we're strongly encouraging all users to migrate to the newest version of Yahoo! Mail. We will continue to invest heavily in the latest version of Yahoo! Mail, further improving it and delivering more compelling features to our users.
We know that changing to a new interface can seem daunting, so we’ve done everything possible to make the transition easy. We have created help pages specifically for users who have recently switched to the newest version of Yahoo! Mail, highlighting differences that you may notice: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/migrating/."

There seems to be a work-around suggested by a poster on another forum: Lower your screen resolution from the Control Panel, and as soon as it’s too low for the new mail, you will get a message displayed asking if you want to switch to Mail Classic. Click “yes”.http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;…
NOTE that this work-around also enlarges the print size for all web pages, involving far more scrolling. Do this in stages, since a resolution less than 80% of the original is not usually recommended. (It can cause side effects in the way the pages and print show.)

Another poster said "It is possible to change back if you’re persistent. Go to Yahoo’s online chat. Tell them you want to change back and ignore their pressure to stay with the upgrade. Tell them you will switch to another provider if you can’t be changed back. They make the process slow and tedious but they will change it back if you hang in there. I was able to do so today."

Man you guys must really love yahoomail. I don't like it anymore. I think gmail has matured to a point where it is far more useful and less cluttered than some other free email hosts.

I don't care about whether my email page is cluttered or not. For me it's all about what FEATURES the email provider offers, and the options, preferences, and customizability. I need and want certain features from my email and I have researched most of the ones currently being offered. Even though Yahoo has some occasional problems, when all is said and done, it is by far the most feature rich, customizable email service available. I do also have a Hotmail account and a GMail account, but their minimal number of options is very frustrating.

The "new improved" Yahoo Mail isn't. In fact, it's vexing, mortifyingly slow, and no longer allows open folders while creating new messages so you can't copy and paste with both items open. Since Yahoo won't permit going back to the old, reliable version. So, I'm seriously considering a switch to...
