I don't want my address bar to show or remember my history. How can I stop it from remembering my history?

Hi, what browser are you using and what version?

Then we can tell you step by step what to do.

In Internet explorer 9 and google chrome there is a private browsing function.

In IE go to Tools, Internet Options, and on the first page, in the Browsing History section Check: "Delete browsing history on exit."

Then click on Settings, and in the History section, under 'Days to keep pages in history,' enter zero.

Yep, as Slasher says.

In Chrome, click the little spanner symbol in the top right had corner and select "new incognito window" It will open a new window which will allow you to surf in total privacy and will not save anything during that session
