Windows 7: Compatibility View Button gone when loading Facebook, why?

Compatibility View Button gone when loading Facebook, why?

can someone tell me why the compatibility button has been removed as of today, 31 August 2011 for the visualization of facebook??

it was working just fine until yesterday on my win 7 32-bit machine, no new fonts installed no nothing....just now it doesn't look as good as it looked before.

in order to get that i have to hit F12, developers tools and set it with document mode: ie8 standards and that makes a difference, browser mode: ie 8 doesn't change a thing.

anything has been changed today?

not sure if it can help..actually i looked in more detail, when i write in the URL bar, then hit enter, for a very quick second shows the compatibility button, then goes away, i tried to do esc and click it but nothing changed..

seems that something has been changed in facebook code or that it has been removed from the compatibility list because before it was honestly doing a good change with the compatibility view button turned on, and in other words the fonts were looking good, as they look on Chrome right now.
