IE8 stops working quite frequently

    IE8 stops working quite frequently


    It used to happen occasionally. Lately IE8 stops working several times a day. I see no rhyme or reason as to why. No changes to the program or computer AFAIK.

    Can someone help troubleshoot this? I'd rather not install IE9.

    Hello Bru,

    It could be a bad or corrupted add-on that's responsible for it to stop working like that. You might see if resetting IE8 completely may help.
