:) The bridges of Madison County are actually in Iowa, but yes, out of the original 19 covered bridges, there are 6 remaining. Here's a lovely article with pictures of them:

Thank you very much for that gloriously detailed and informative communication. Its obvious that Mr Jones was bent on leaving his mark in the history of Iowa State. If I ever get to the US one last time, ( running out of years, unfortunately ), I shall devote a little more time to the Mid West. Having surfeited myself with the East West and South, ( Canada also ).
I am still labouring at the problem of the nuisance window, but in spite of following `best advice` either nothing happens or the procedure does not demonstrate the predicted options and questions. Or having answered them the answer, or next question, or option, is not as I have been advised to expect.
Have you got a username and password combination that allows you to log in to www.live.com from your browser? That's the first step.
Yes thanks Roncerr, I presume it would be foolish to state them here on an open forum. I made a note of them when I created them. gwolf
OK. That same email/password combination should allow you to "sign-in" to WLM, if that is what you want to do. If it doesn't work on WLM but does at live.com then WLM is broken and needs to be repaired or reinstalled. If a repair or reinstall of WLM doesn't work then all I can suggest is starting over with a fresh install of Windows 7. But you can eliminate the sign-in request by choosing the "Connection" option to "stop signing in". That will allow you to use WLM sort of like Outlook Express which did not have your contact list duplicated on the web nor provide the option to send large photos via Skydrive downloads (called "Photo Email") instead of as email attachment downloads.
Thanks again Roncerr from g-wolf
