No problem. Are you trying to sync win 7 mail and vista mail? or are you just trying to migrate to win 7?

that isn't what he is suggesting, he saying u can port the windows mail folders from vista into windows 7, basically just cut and paste. his link shows how, i'm sure u'll manage
Yes exactly, just copy from vista folder and paste to windows 7 folder.

Thanks for pic, it shows well how to do it =)

now I got another problem, when I delete mail, it doesn't go to deleted items folder or anywhere.. it just "poofs" and doesn't move to any folder.

And I'm pretty sure I haven't checked any "bypass deleted items folder when deleting messages"

If you have more than 1 e-mail a/c check the deleted items under each account (storage folders also has a deleted items folder in it). Have you checked the "Empty messaged from the Deleted Items folder on exit" under options/maintenance?

Windows Mail files from Vista makes Windows 7 complete, that goes for both x64 & x86
I had some problems with x64 version, i don't like third party programs in that area, tryed some more and succeeded!
Just drag and drop .eml files into a folder and it's done, imho. Don't use anything to replace something Windows 7 can do itself.

    Open Windows Live Mail
OPen the folder(s) containing the *.eml files
Place both windows side by side
    Select all *.eml files
Drag to Windows Live Mail Inbox
    Drop

Do you use Windows Mail on your Windows 7 ?
And if so, did you manage to get the files overwritten by the Windows Mail Files, placed in the \Program Files\Windows Mail Folder on Vista ?
Otherwise the Program won't run, but done correct, Windows Mail does the job, there are two problems, if one sees it like that, you can't click on the "Read Mail" button on the IE Bar upper right, and it's not working with the .eml to open them with Windows Mail.
Still dragging them into Folders in Windows Mail, makes the readable again.

PS! If your Windows 7 RC is some bit off the road, try with a newer, like the 7600 ZUKO, seems like the Build you'll get in the end, anyways!

Still people can't read thread, now this is 3rd answer in row which didn't help at all

Cyrus; win7 doesn't have windows mail, it got windows live mail.

and I still have moved my mails to new system, now problem is IMAP sent folder and deleted items folder which won't sync.

so the problem is that IMAP mails which I delete won't go to IMAP deleted folder... they don't go to storange either.

they just poof to cyber space
