Are you sure the date and time on your computer is currently correct?
This is often the cause of certificate problems.

well I know akamai is legit and that they own about 60 domains and assist with even more.

I don't think you're looking at a dangerous situation here.
It's possibly just a bad change in code on the part of the site

Run a malware scan with mbam. Maybe also some free rootkit revealer.

Other than malware cleaning, try changing the url E.g. use www...... if you aren't already or go up one level in the url, then open the subsequent level from that page.

Your link is interesting although I have not read all of it yet.
I clicked on the details tab and got this a248.e.akamai.net.zip

Hi Bill2, I know my pc's are clean. The site was accessed from a stored bookmark, which gave the issue in question. I Googled the same site, WOT showed green, but FF latest version & IE9 could not find the page.

Mozilla updated firefox with some changes to recognized SSL certificates, could be because of that. Does it happen with IE as well?

Run a scan. Your problem is with "b.scorecardresearch.com".

If nothing shows up, it could be a FireFox addon you loaded recently. Appears to be trying to send info to the data collection site under the Akamai certificate. Not good!
