| Windows 7: How can I get back Windows Mail? |

How can I get back Windows Mail? I purchased a new PC about a month ago with Windows 7. I had Vista with Windows Mail and found both pretty decent. Now, I think I am upgrading, but Live Mail is absolutely the worse email system I have ever used.
When I click on a new message it takes about a minute before it will open. I get the message "unable to open". Also when I want to send an email it will not bring my contact names? Just absolutely terrible.
Is there someway I can download Windows Mail? | My System Specs |

Appreciate the link, but that is much too much for me to go through on a new PC. Wish I hadn't gone to Windows 7.
I honestly don't know how they thought LiveMail was an upgrade? | My System Specs | | |

I honestly don't know how they thought LiveMail was an upgrade? Yeah, I don't blame you. Win 7 is a great OS they just felt the need to remove a few things.
I like windows mail too. Must be the way you have WLM setup or installed. Might be the mail server you use. I like it and it's snappy. I was using Outlook Express on XP. For reasons unknown to me, they got rid of Outlook Express.
After that happened, I briefly used both Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail.
Both were excruciating compared to OE.
I went to Thunderbird and have never looked back. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Ignatz Special; 4 speed manual gearbox; factory air conditioning; one of one OS Windows 7 SP1, Home Premium, 64-bit CPU Intel Sandy Bridge i5-2500, not overclocked Motherboard Gigabyte H67A-UD3H-B3, full ATX Memory 4 GB Crucial DDR3-1333 Graphics Card none; graphics are integrated on CPU Sound Card onboard: Realtek ALC892; external: USB Behringer UF0-202 Monitor(s) Displays NEC 90GX2-BK 19" LCD Screen Resolution 800 x 640 Keyboard Leopold Tenkeyless with Cherry Blue switches, USB Mouse Logitech or Microsoft optical wired; either USB or PS 2 PSU Seasonic SS-560KM, modular Case Antec Solo II Cooling CPU: Scythe Big Shuriken; Case: Scythe Slipstream 800 & 500 Hard Drives System: Intel 320 Series SSD, 80 GB;
