I presumed he discovered Google Chrome. I abandoned Firefox for Chrome.

I've been using Maxthon for about a month or so now, and I love it. Everything I used as an extension with FF or Chrome is built into Maxthon.

I'm growing weary myself of trying different browsers. I used to like Avant, then I got on the Firefox bandwagon for a couple years, but lately it seems that many of my banking websites use ActiveX or something that FF doesn't support. Further, I've never liked FF's Print capabilities. For example, IE has the Print Options button in Preview that's very useful while FF does not. Oh, and MS Update Catalog seems to work only with IE. So I switch back/forth between FF and IE because IEtab doesn't cut it 100%.

With no ActiveX for FF, am I doomed to switch between FF and IE? Who uses Avant these days--do I need to switch back? Oh, pls "no Google anything here" i.e. don't recommend Chrome cuz I won't do it.

You might try the IETab2 addon for Firefox.

Just yesterday I learned FF didn't work for getting a PDF file off my healthcare website. I think it was yet another ActiveX thing. And IETab doesn't cut it.
