The "imported folder" should be a subfolder under "Storage folders". Scroll down to the picture in item #10 here: Windows Live Mail - Export and Import Email Messages

Our old XP machine harddrive has just died! This has OE6 on it... I'm now on a Win7 PC with Windows Live Mail... I am trying to find an import option to bring in all my old backed-up folders in the dbx format without any luck.
Any suggestions? I did try Thunderbird then gave up!!
I prepared in openoffice a html newsletter to send out.
Now, in Outlook I can "Insert File->" and insert a html file and it works great.
In Windows Live Mail, can I also insert a html file in the same way?
How can I import that html file like I do in Outlook?
I tried to transfer my mails (outlook express) from my old computer XP to the new one W7, where I installed WLM for the email service. I followed the procedure:
Copied the Microsoft Otlook folder with the .dbx files to the new computer
Used the import function in WLM to import the messages...
