I thought 7 was the latest. What are you referring to?
For testing purposes... but is fast & stable. I am impressed!
No problems at all here. Wouldn't swap it.

Thanks. Since I am only beginning to explore browsers other than IE9, I better stop shy of the test builds for now don't you think? Actually, I am surprised to feel I like Safari so far.
    Thanks.

Bill I understand your reluctance & had to be convinced by a close friend to run it.
    It works beautifully...... thus far!

Good luck whichever way you go.

I just downloaded it too. I have a lot of learning to do this weekend. I miss the IE9 icnos across the top for saved websites. Got to figure out how to replace that on this nightly.

I too switched from IE to FF.... Took a while to work it out.... but now I hardly ever return to IE.
Play with it in your spare time.
BTW there are a host of marvelous skins, add ons etc.

I have been an IE guy forever. I am now bored. What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of Firefox, Chrome, etc. Opinions please.
    Thanks,
    Bill
    For firefox

Speed, addons for anything imaginable, skins, built in spell checker, etc

    For Chrome

    More speed, simplicity, neat gui.

I prefer firefox and am testing nightly. Best version yet and only an alpha.

Been using Firefox and will do so forever. Adblock Plus is just too great to pass up.

Chrome is my back up browser for its simplicity and integrated easily with Google.

Ad block plus is also available in Chrome if you didn't know.

Ah yes, I know it, but for some reasons I still think Chrome's is still inferior to that of Firefox's (adblock plus).

I played with the top three and they are now very close and great, IMO.

I have been using FF for years, but recently v7 gave me some problems. The number of recent updates with required reboot is crazy. It is still the best for extensions.

At work, we use IE. I like its interface best and I might be wrong, but it feels faster than FF 7. Extensions are lacking unfortunately.

Chrome is probably my best bet.

BTW, xmarks.com does wonder if you want to share your shortcuts everywhere on most of the browsers. I also use x-notifier to get notified of new emails from muy Hotmail account.
