    Text on certain websites positions itself incorrectly


    They say a picture is worth a thousand words and in this case I genuinely can't think how to explain in prose. So please see the link below to a screenshot of the problem. What could be causing this?

    Just the way the webpage is coded, and it's not quite compatible with Firefox' rendering engine. Nothing you can do about it except view the page in another browser (IE will usually be fine).

    Thank you for the reply.

    This problem is only happening on my dad's computer (he emailed me asking why), its
    working fine on firefox for me.

    It might be down to different versions of Firefox, or changes that had been made to the webpage between when your Dad looked at it and when you did. This one in particular looks like dynamic (constantly changing) content to me.
