Silly Question but I'm Stumped- IE8/9 view downloads AFTER completion

    Hi there
I can't find it --but is there a way of looking at your download history AFTER a download has completed in IE8 or IE9 -- I can only see the popup application while a download is actually in progress.

(Same problem also on IE10 in Windows 8 developer preview if you are trying that version of Windows too).

I can't believe that the application is only available during a download.

    Thanks

    Hi Jimbo,

Press Ctrl+J to view all your downloads on IE 9 & IE 10.

Simple enough. Just press CTRL-J in your IE window. :)

If you know where you're downloading your files to, of course you can simply browse to that folder and find them there. If you don't know, you can change the download location in IE's settings (Control Panel -> Internet Options).

Nice simple answer -- I'm surprised this seems to be hidden .

No problem Jimbo. You can also find this option by clicking on the Tools icon at the top left corner of IE and then click on View Downloads.

How come the help menu , keyboard shortcuts shows that Ctrl J opens feeds ?
Anyone new to computers who has the Menu bar turned off might have trouble opening the help menu if they don't know the F1 shortcut.
