Favorites Won't Show Up In IE8...

PC crashed yesterday(damaged sectors), and I ran spinrite6 overnight and fixed the pc. The one issue I have now is I had saved my favorites from my damaged HD onto my daughters pc then onto a usb flash, and when I transfer the favorites back to the favorites folder(in my administrator folder), they don't show up, it's empty.

Hello VengeFulHemi, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Did you close and reopen IE8 afterwards?

If so, then double check using OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to make sure that your C:\Users\(user-name)\Favorites folder is set to the default location.

User Folders - Restore Default Location

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Found the answer(boy do I feel like a d**k for not seeing this sooner). Simply, I just went in and changed the attributes of the folder. I just unchecked the "Hide&Read Only" and they instantly showed up in the favorites in ie8 when I clicked in the menu.
