Windows Live Mail - columns per folder

I use WLM for my imap email. Is there a way to have different columns viewed per folder (i.e. inbox, sent, trash, etc).

I would like my inbox to show ONLY show the FROM column, without the TO column.

I would like my sent box to show ONLY the TO column, without the FROM column.

    Etc....

When I change one folder, it changes all of them (i.e. when I change the Inbox, it changes the Sent box to the same columns. When I switch them back, it effects ALL folders.)

Hi iskortch, click on 'Inbox' Right click bar above email list.

I know that, thanks. My question is beyond that. How do I change each individual's folder without the change effecting all folders? I want each folder to be specific. When I change one, it changes all folders to the same columns.

As I only use my Inbox, setting it how I want. Can't test other folders for you as they are empty. I think 'Sent' folder is changeable.

Agreed. My "Sent" folder has no "from" column.

All folders are changeable and can show any columns you would like. My issue/question is to how to personalize/individualize each folder separately.

When I personalize/individualize one folder, it changes all folder to those columns chosen.

I am use to Thunderbird where each folder can be individualized and show only certain columns I wish, each folder individually.

    I.E.
Inbox shows columns: From, Subject, Date, Attachment
Sent shows columns: To, Subject, Date, Attachment
Drafts shows columns: From, Subject, Date, Attachment
    Etc....

Right now, if I were to change anyone of those folder, it changes them ALL to that.

Your SENT folder can have a "from" column if you choose. But if you add it, it will add it to ALL folders, including INBOX.

Yes, you are correct. Seems it can't be done on WLM 2009 using POP.

My point is that the other folders have a from column but the sent folder does not have a from column since I did not want it there but I do want it on the others. I'm using WLM 2009. Have you tried a repair of WLE via Programs and Features? It will repair all of the installed components, including Mail.
