    is their a way to enable to "use large icons" button in IE9


    Hello, i was wanting to enable to the large icons on explorer 9 again. the feature used to be thier, now thier is not

    the tabs and icons are now tiny!

    i googled - and managed to find this, it has worked for anyone else wanting large icons.

    1) open regedit, by typing regedit in start menu search bar
    2) navigate to ...hkey_current_user
    3) then ...software
    4) then ...microsoft
    5) then ...internet explorer
    6) then select the 'commandBar' folder
    7) this will open up the files in the right hand pannel.
    8) select the file 'smallicons'
    9) right-click on the file, then modify
    10) then change the value from (1) to (0).......reboot the pc, then it worked for me

    Wow, I hadn't saw that one.

    I made a tutorial dedicated to you for pointing it out.

    Thanks, as I wanted to do that myself for a long time. I had to create the registry entry as it wasn't there in that location for me.
