You're using Fail (Chrome Edition) and Fail (Explorer Edition)? I think you should hop off of the fail train before you get to failtown with the other failures.
Use FireFox, and Adblock Plus. All of your problems; solved. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell OS Windows 7 CPU Intel® Core™i7-940 Processor(8MB L2 Cache, 2.93GHz) Memory 6GB Tri-Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1066MHz - 6 DIMMs Graphics Card 512MB ATI Radeon HD 4850 Monitor(s) Displays Dell 24 inch Consumer™ S2409W Flat Panel, Adjustable Stand Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Hard Drives 750GB - 7200RPM, SATA 3.0Gb/s, 16MB Cache Internet Speed 705kbps Download, 65kbps Upload |

I just loaded back version 1.0 of Google's Chrome Browser and internet speeds are back up. At least for my experience I oppening sites faster with chrome than with IE8 and Firefox
Perhaps Chrome 2.0 and Windows 7 (7000) don't like each other for now... | My System Specs | | |

Google changed the HTTP network code implementation for their Chrome 2 beta browser for windows, so it's probably why you're having problem with the version 2 pre-beta and not the version 1 Final Quote: New network code. Google Chrome now has its own implementation of the HTTP network protocol (we were using the WinHTTP library on Windows, but need common code for Mac and Linux). We fixed a few bugs in HTTP authentication and made Google Chrome more compatible with servers that reply with invalid HTTP responses. We need feedback on anything that's currently broken, particularly with proxy servers, secure (https) sites, and sites that require log in. I find Chrome to load everything way faster than Firefox.
I just reinstalled Firefox to test the new Ubiquity release. Firefox start up time is slow compared to Chrome and Ubiquity still failed at sending a decently formatted email. So, I'm back to Chrome again... | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Vostro 1510 OS Windows 7 Build 7100 32-bit, Windows Vista 32-bit CPU Intel Core Duo T8100 2,1GHz Memory 3GB Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS Screen Resolution 1440x900 Hard Drives 250GB |

I tried to install Chrome on Windows 7 x64 by curiosity and I can't get a page to load... tried both version 2 beta and the 1 final no go for both with either vista compatibility or/and admin rights during installs or on the chrome browser .exe
Does anyone has the same problem?
