    Can't find Google search provider for IE9


    Hi,

    I'm trying to use Google as the default search provider for IE9. I know I used to be able to do this but they have changed the website where you select them and Google is no longer listed.

    The website I checked was: Internet Explorer Gallery

    Does anyone know where I can download the Google search provider for Internet Explorer 9?

    Hello Caleb,

    You should be able to type in Google in the search box, and press Enter to see it afterwards like below. :)

    I thought it was a bit strange that Google wasn't listed. It doesn't appear to be listed under 'Search' in the add ons gallery though. It's clearly there if you search for it though as you stated.

I'm using IE10, but this applies to IE9 also. Getting rather annoyed with the .com search results instead of co.uk. There doesn't appear to be an add-on in iegallery.com :mad: Anyone know how to change it? :sarc:
Hi there, I think the title is self-explanatory. I have installed the Google search provider from the official Google webpage (Make Google your Default Search Engine) on IE 8 and noticed that it does not suggest as I type. I opened "Manage Search Providers" and see "Not Available" besides...
Problem is when I go to Internet Explorer Gallery Add-ons there are a whole bunch of useless search providers for example tesco.com ? if I horizontally scroll across the screen to the far right I can find the Google accelerator in among the browsers beginning with S & install that & have the option...

Microsoft goes out of their way to deliberately and intentionally alienate and furstte users ( way d'go Microsoft) by not acknowleging Google as a search provider. What a despicable practice. There is no direct.intutive way to add a Google as Search prvivder. But I know it can be done and I did...
Can't find google as a search provider can only see accelerators. Can anyone find search provider add on for me would be most gratefull.:mad:
