Need the active video player on website to automatically go fullscreen

    Hey guys,
I'm looking for a way to automatically maximize a video and all next videos in queue when viewing videos online. The specific example I am looking for is here: NHL.com Video

As you'll see, when the next video in line plays the screen minimizes to regular size. Note that I have an ad-remover so that ad doesn't come up... I'm looking for a way to automatically maximize the video screen at start and when the next video plays (and thus at the present moment minimizes).

Macros would work but it would be hard to time it and to make it work across a large spectrum of sites. I'm looking for something that more or less detect the video applet and thus automatically full screens it when available.

Using Firefox but don't mind switching to Chrome/Opera/IE...

    Thanks!

    Hey guys, any ideas?

Even if I have to hit a button to make it do its trick...

It's not really what you want but may be a workaround: you can put the browser in full screen mode (F11) and set the zoom to fill the screen. (I tried it in IE.) To handle the aspect ratio better, use a wide-screen monitor.

Works great as a temporary solution, thanks a lot for the suggestion!

As you mentioned though not so feasible over the long term. I'm looking to setup a media computer for my mother. So, yeah, can't be complicated like having to zoom in

It's mainly going to be used for international news and sports highlights not offered on cable TV... and we are not huge fans of the concept of scheduled TV or having to remember to record your TV.

Hmphh, any other solutions out there?

It's not so important that it automatically goes full screen upon clicking the site (although it's preferred). The main thing is making sure that once we maximize the video that the window maximizes itself again whenever the the next video is played. Thus the main importance here is that once the program/script is "set" to the applet on the site that the program/script recognizes this applet as a video applet and also recognizes the maximizing function.
