    Opening multiple internet windows

Just got my first laptop and can't figure out how to open multiple windows to access the internet. If I have one open, clicking on the "e" icon will close it instead of opening a second window. Any Ideas? Thanks.

    Helo BJ,

When you click on the Internet Explorer "E" taskbar icon, it actually doesn't close the IE window, but minimizes instead.

To open a new window, right click on the "E" icon to see the jump list, and click on Internet Explorer to open a new window.

You could also open a new tab, then drag the tab from the toolbar to have it in a new window as well.
    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Personally I much prefer tabs, to make it the default behavior open Internet Options.
    Use the Keyboard shortcut.
Ctrl N opens a new Window its the same shortcut in all the Browsers.
