Chrome Extension Broken - Fix can't find.

I can't create a account on the user forum for this Chrome add-on to get help with this problem. I can't get this extension to notify me when a receive a mail from gmail. There is a solution to the problem but since I'm using ChromePlus, I can't find the script folder, and I was hoping someone could help.

If you have ChromePlus installed from a ZIP package to a C:\SOMETHING
That folder from tutorial should be C:\SOMETHING\ChromePlusUserData\Default\Extensions

    It's installed in C:\Users.

It says it right on the patche's page: the file is in
    Code:
    C:\Users\{your username}\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\apebebenniibdlpbookhgelaghfnaonp\0.8.3_0\content\scripts
or just do a search for gmail.js and follow the directions on the patch page

or just update X-notifier to the last version 0.8.6.0 where that bug is already fixed

I have the latest version of X-notifier installed, the bug is not removed. I'm using ChromePlus. The file path you mentioned to search doesn't exist on my machine.

Did you set "show hidden files" in folder options? That path has to exist at least up to here "C:\Users\{your username}\AppData\Local\Google" But anyways if you have the, as you say, latest version of X-Notifier, editing of gmail.js wouldn't do you any good since it's already fixed in that version.
So your options are limited to either switch to the regular Chrome (mine is v.17.0.942.0 dev-m).
or find a different gmail manager, or just wait for the next update and hope that'll work for you.

OK in that case I would try to reach the creator of said extension and point out what doesn't work on Chrome Plus.
(He won't fix it until he knows it's broken
Why Chrome Plus anyways? What's the advantage over the regular (or the dev-) version? All perks i found so far can be added to original chrome with extensions.
You do know that chrome plus is a bit questionable from a security point of view, right?

You could be right, I'll consider switching to the actual chrome and applying all the privacy tools.
