Did they finally allow Tab Stacking to be an optional feature?

Not yet personally I'm hoping for automatic stacking if you open a link from a stack it should stay inside the stack.
The way it is now I don't use it much & if I do stack the tabs I'm more likely to use the Windows Panel.

Yeah that's a good feature they should implement too. I'm disappointed about Tab Stacking still being forced on everyone though. I mean it's good in theory, but I think the way you stack the tabs would be much better controlled by holding down a toggle key such as Shift or Ctrl. I always stack tabs accidentally which is annoying because most of the time I'm just trying to reorganize my tabs by dragging, and I'm sure most users (especially new users to the browser) do that a lot too. Holding down Ctrl while dragging the tab would make Tab Stacking a lot more manageable and less accident-prone. I don't know why Opera hasn't given us that option yet.

I agree with you its a bit clumsy the way it is now but it works pretty good using the Windows panel. I find i rarely stack by accident these days, guess I've gotten used to it.
