    Opera 12 64 bit

Come and get it! Opera 12 64 bit version. This is an Alpha build so it may cause issues for some. I am running it right now with no problems yet.

Seems just as stable as the Opera Next 12 x 32 bit (non-labs) version I've been using it for several hours with no problems.

    I forget about opera

I have many web browsers but choose IE and Firefox

I might try Opera again soon as I heard Firefox may be no more

When it comes to browsers, my choices are Opera Next 12.00 32 bit but I will now go with the 64 bit version of it and Nightly 11.0a1 (64 bit firefox).

I will be sad if Firefox goes as it is a very reliable piece of software. It is not the fastest but it works right every time you use it and is still fast enough. Hopefully another company will sponsor them to keep it going.

Give Opera a try, I think you will like it, just remember version 11.60 32 bit is the official release and this 64 bit version is only an alpha build.

Firefox is not going to disappear any-time soon. If Firefox falls behind & you think another browser is better switch to it when it happens & not because some one, probably Google is spreading FUD about Firefox.
By all means try Opera x64 but be aware that Hardware Acceleration is enabled by default & may cause problems with older graphics cards.

Runs great on my Radeon 5770. I will try to run it today on my older machine with an Nvidia 8600 GTS and let you know.

Opera 12 Alpha Build 1211 x64 has been running smoothly on my Win 7 x64 computer with its Radeon Sapphire HD 5770 graphics card ever since I installed it. I just dropped in the Roaming App Data from Opera 11.60 and Opera 12 Alpha x64 was instantly ready to roll complete with the full set of my Bookmarks, Passwords, Speed Dial, Skin, Scroogle SSL search engine and all the rest of the functions that it takes to make Opera 12 Alpha x64 fully functional!

New build of 64 bit Opera. Opera Next 12.00 build 1293.

Seems more solid. I had some issues on certain websites with the old version, this seems much better so far. Reminder, this is an Alpha build.

Can I ask why does opera keeps on redownloading files? in my case I am playing web browser games, and when I loaded the site's files like images, when I come back and play again opera redownloads the site's files again which isn't good for me because I have a slow net. thanks! :)

Which version of the Opera browser are you using? Is it this new Opera Labs X64 build?
