    Folder for Downloads Remember

On so many occassions I want to download several files from the web from one site or many sites. After each download, I have to browse back to where I downloaded the previous files.

Is there anyway to make IE8 remember where it downloaded the last file ??

    Thanks

Don't use IE but isn't there a download option to always save files to a location?

Also, you can just use a download manager like FDM. That way all your downloads are in one folder without any browsing through folders when you click download or you can group them accordingly or do whatever you like with them.

    Hope this helps :)

Use another browser like Chrome or Firefox!

IE8 always remembers my last download location. By default, it was the Download folder, but after I picked the Desktop all downloads from then on have gone to the Desktop. Have you made changes to some IE8 settings or something similar?

Ooops, never mind. I just re-read your post and my answer has nothing to do with your question. I should probably just delete it.
