Windows 7: windows live mail changes pictures

My problem is whenever I receive an email from friends that contain pictures or cartoons with captions under them and I forward the email to others it changes the pictures to a slide show without the caption for each picture. How can I stop this and keep the picture with caption in the body of the email as sent to me?

I guess your using WLM 2011. You could get an older version that is used on my two computers if you wanted it.

Does the older version of windows live mail alllow you to forward emails with pic's without changing them? If so what do I need to do?

Uninstall WLE 2011 via Programs and Features.
Install WLE 2009 from this link: http://g.live.com/1rewlive3/en/wlsetup-web.exe
Since there is no mixing of programs from the two suites you will be using the older version of all the programs you choose and you can't use messenger at all since that requires the 2011 version.

If that forward email situation doesn't come up too often , you may want stay with 2011. Just save the pictures in your pictures folder with names that include a number so you know where it goes in the email. Then in the forwarded email use the option to "insert picture inline" and put the pictures in the proper places.
