Internet searches are redirecting me to some random sites.

Hi, This had happen to my computer before and I was able to remove it; however, this time it's back and Window Updater is starting to act up. It tells me that they are new updates, but I'm unable to download them.

I have scanned the laptop with Malware Anti-Malware last night, and remove some files, but the problem remains.

Any help I can get with this problem?

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums, Clinton.

As well as running Malwarebytes (I assume that's what you used) you might want to download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner, as this tutorial by Brink explains.

    Microsoft Safety Scanner

You could also download and run the System Updates Readiness Tool, which can help resolve any issues with Windows Updates. It is a 315 MB download, so it may take some time depending on your internet speed.

Okay, I have downloaded and used the System Updates Readiness Tool, It scanned for about 2 hours, and then... my laptop restarted. So it was unsuccessful.

Afterward, I downloaded Microsoft Safety Scanner, and ran a Quick Scan, and it reported that there was nothing with my Laptop...

Well, it's definitely the Google redirect virus that's causing your problem it seems.

Malwarebytes appears not to be able to remove this little beauty so try this solution using ComboFix.

It has appear to be successful! I was able to access the sites that I was searching for. Thank You for getting rid of that nasty little pest; however, there is still one thing that still bother me.

I went to check to see if my Window Update was okay, and when I did that, It appeared that I had 46 improtant update to installed, so I click the "Install Update" button, and... My explorer bar turned into "Window Classic" Style for no appearance reason. Afterward, It said it was successful, then I check again and It appear that it want me to install the same updates again.

Have a look at this tutorial by Brink.

    Windows Update - Reset

The first part resets the Windows cache so that your updates list is cleared out without uninstalling any updates.

Option two resets the Windows Updates components to clear out any errors.

Alright, So I did both steps 1 & 2, and restarted my laptop, and went to do a update check. It stated that the "Update were successfully installed" But I get the error code 800706BA. Went to look for what that was, but found nothing.

Looks like it's time to notify Microsoft.

Have a look here and use the link for Microsoft Support: Windows Update error 800706BA

This solution worked for Windows Vista, it may work for Windows 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940520

You may find something here: http://support.microsoft.com/ph/14019

Other than the above, my only other suggestion is a system restore to a point before this problem started occurring or as a last resort try starting Windows Updates again.

Alright I have sent a notification to Microsoft, and I have done a system restore when the first Google Redirect Virus affected me; however, this 2nd time, it stayed.

Now for my other problem, I got back from my school today and then this "Privacy Protection" program pop up, A Fake Virus Protection (I researched). I did saw the file there, sitting on my Desktop day by day, So I left it alone.
