Hard disc causing crashes?

I have had multiple instances of browsers not responding - white screen - both IE and Firefox. I check my event log and found two consistent errors: bonjour service and disk issues. First, should I uninstall bonjour? Second, is this suggesting that my hard drive is dying and needs replacing? the error messages are:
1) The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk2\DR3.
2) The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block.

Thanks Dusty - I uninstalled Bonjour, I defragged my hard drive, and I checked the disk for errors. It indeed found several and attempted to automatically fix them and recover bad sectors. I think the crashes are happening LESS, but are still occurring. Is it possible a second round of disk-checking is warranted? Or could there be a potential additional issue that I need to address?

after that, my guess would the the HDD is going bad. Someone else may have to confirm that. You might try the disk check again, and before it starts, I think there are options for more advanced checking.

Thanks for the further tips - we'll see what happens. Sorry for posting in the wrong section. I started this as a BROWSER issue, since crashes are mainly happening while surfing the internet, and it has morphed into a possible hard drive issue.
