    Different Google page on 2 pcs


    I have 2 Windows 7 x64 computers, both connected to the same router/ISP, both running Firefox - however one shows the new Google with roll-over navigation on left yet the other still shows old Google with nav bar at top. I have cleared temp files and cookies, restarted, and still have different versions of Google on each pc.

    There's no problem - Google works fine - but I'm really puzzled how this can happen. Screenshot of new Google below

    I don't use Google+

    I wouldn't worry about it, I get different versions of Googles UK page on the same PC running two different browsers - the old page version appears in Opera, the new one in iE9 (both browsers are devoid of cookies, neither has me logged into any Google services of any kind - and no persistent storage is enabled).

    Both my browsers are sharing the same intranet and internet gateway.

    I could understand this "different versions of Google" business if it was random which one you got while they were upgrading the software

    anyhow, thanks for replies
