Different Google page on 2 pcs

I have 2 Windows 7 x64 computers, both connected to the same router/ISP, both running Firefox - however one shows the new Google with roll-over navigation on left yet the other still shows old Google with nav bar at top. I have cleared temp files and cookies, restarted, and still have different versions of Google on each pc.

There's no problem - Google works fine - but I'm really puzzled how this can happen. Screenshot of new Google below

must get out more . . .

I wouldn't worry about it, I get different versions of Googles UK page on the same PC running two different browsers - the old page version appears in Opera, the new one in iE9 (both browsers are devoid of cookies, neither has me logged into any Google services of any kind - and no persistent storage is enabled).

Both my browsers are sharing the same intranet and internet gateway.

I could understand this "different versions of Google" business if it was random which one you got while they were upgrading the software

anyhow, thanks for replies

Google page now lets you set your own background.
Check it out! I love it, it makes the page I visit at least 100 times a day look much better. :) Just go to the Google Page and look under the search buttons. You'll see it. :)
