Top right hand corner next to 'sign in'. Click on that & change the settings for google. 'Options/Search settings'.

In firefox you go to 'mange search engines'.

You'll probably have to do it one at a time.

Hi, whenever I search by entering text in the address bar and press enter, the search goes to SearchCompletion Search . I found out that this is malware. How could have I got it? Also, can you please tell me how do I get back to google search? Thanks.

P.S. : The google search bar is working properly.

You could have got it any number of ways.

First thing to do is remove it, using a good anti-malware tool like Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware. Once you've done that, you may find Google will return as your default search. If not, ask again.
    this dang thing
this search redriects me from the site xbmc4xbox its really ticking me off

wo hoo might have got it

Okay, you first you have to uninstall Firefox, and make sure to click the delete everything button when prompted. If you need to save your bookmarks, go to 'Bookmarks' in the menu navigation and select 'Show all bookmarks' (CTRL+SHIFT+B), and in the Library menu select 'Back up'. If you reinstall Firefox with out first uninstalling it you will still have an infected browser. And it's really important you uninstall the freeware that gave you browser herpes. I got mine from DVsoft. If I use there software there is a window that suggests using searchcompletion with all the buttons already clicked for me. Its even on a timer so if that it accepts the changes for me after 10 seconds. I say tar and feather searchcompletion and shoot 'em in the head. Hopefully this helped..

hey guys i know what the problem was for me. first of all, i have google as my search engine and as my homepage, and when you type something it has some sort of an auto complete type. i didn`t even notice it on my computer until just recently. anyways i typed something and it showed the auto complete type and if you look to the left of the box there is a close button. press that and choose not to have the auto typer and it fixes the javascript problem and you should be able to stream, download, see comments etc. it worked for me maybe it will work for everyone who has this problem. if it works let me know guys thanks
OK.... I went to http://www.google.com/preferences ... you must be logged in and there is an Off and On option under search settings. AND at the bottom... click SAVE.

Here is the link for the instructions.....

My streaming seems to be OK now.
Possible Java conflicts going on with that Auto complete running.
