Windows 7 - IE( won't let me access hyperlinks

How can I fix my acer netbook windows 7 IE9 problem: it won't let me access a weblink such as the kind you find on facebook pages? I have tried everything. Thanks, John

Internet Explorer - Reset

Welcome to Seven Forums johnmc. If reset doesn't work, try this:

Start> Type Run> Enter

Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll

Click OK

You should receive a message of success, click OK

If this doesn't fix the problem, repeat steps for each of the following followed by Enter

Type regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll

Type regsvr32 Msjava.dll

Type regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll

Type regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll

Type regsvr32 Mshtml.dll

Type regsvr32 Browseui.dll

Type regsvr32 Shell32.dll

email hyper links won't work.

Possibly the pop up blocker is turned on for Facebook. Security block.

Of course turning this off and then clicking the links on Facebook will expose your system to all the security breeches, viruses, and malware floating thru Facebook.
