Where do I put folders in Windows Live Mail?

    Hi everyone! good morning !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways I use YAHOO MAIL PLUS.. And I have all of my email stored under the YAHOO ACCOUNT TITLE .. But Ive noticed it doesnt BACK UP all of the emails... When importing its just a blank folders.....what's going on? I do NOT see a space that says STORAGE... So where does the folders Truly belong?

Also is there a limit of how much mail WLM can hold?

I thunderbird ( which I hate ) only has folder sizes up to 2 gigs... BLECH NO THANIKS!!

    Thanks,
    Christopher

Not sure what you mean by "back up". You can keep your mail under the POP3 account or you can move them to the storage area. Just keep in mind that if you delete the POP3 account from WLM, all the messages stored under it will be deleted with the account. For that reason, some people prefer to move the important stuff to the storage area.

If you want to back up your messages to some other media to guard against a hard disk failure, you can save them via the "export" feature when in the main email window or you can save the entire "message store" in Windows Explorer. The path to your message store is given by WLM using Options/Advanced/Maintenance/Store Folder.
