| | File does not have a program associated with it? Howdy, I received a link from a friend to a video he posted on Dropbox. I have received links to videos from him before and it worked just fine. The video is a MOV file. Now, when I get an email in Windows Live Mail with a link to a video i get the error "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action...." I can copy the url and paste it right to IE8 and it works fine. I have checked my file associations in Control Panel and MOV is set to open with Quicktime. I tried changing that to Windows Media player but got the same error. I was not sure where this should be posted...but thought I would start here! Thanks in advance. Dean |
