I haven't really noticed many problems with the firefox browser on Windows 7...and it's pretty much the only browser that I use. I've tried Chrome a few times...but the lack of add-on support is a killer for me. I just rely too much on my firefox add-ons to use other browsers.

3.5.2 ran so slow, allowed popups, crashed pages, ect so much I dropped it and transferred its bookmarks to my IE8, Chrome 3 beta, safari 4 and opera 10 beta installs. All run much better.

Wow, Firefox 3.5.2 is the best browser I've ever used, and I was a diehard IE user all the way to IE8! FWIW, I've observed none of the problems you mentioned. The addons I use are Adblock Plus, Download Helper, Google Toolbar, NoScript, and Xmarks.

YEAH - what's with the video stuttering? I thought that was only when I had too many tabs open. Oh no, forgot, then video totally stops. FF blows.
I wish I knew. It's the one thing I still use IE8 for. I've never seen video "stop" in Firefox.

WOW, I haven't seen any of that behavior.

    The add-ons I use are
    Ad-Block Plus
    Capture Fox
    Chatzilla
    FireBug
    HTTPFox
    Stylish
    VMWare Remote Console Plug-in.

    No issues with FF 3.5.2

I have been a happy FF user for about 4 years now and haven't noticed any of the issues in the previous posts. I tend to be a little bit conservative with my addons using only:

    Bugmenot
    betterprivacy
    addblock plus
    IE tab

if you experience pop-ups or an annoying pop-up blocker notification then your FF is not optimized as well as it can be. I experience NO, repeat NO, annoying popups and rarely a notification of blocked pop-ups. Recommend Highly the addblock plus....it works well.

If anything, it's better on Win7. (I use Firefox 3.5.2.) However, it continues to suffer from Flash video stuttering, which occurs every 10 sec or so (audio is unaffected)
Well, I'll be. This workaround that was just published on 8/22 seems to work:
