How to Open eml Files in Outlook 2010

Hello,
I am not quite sure if this is the right place to ask this question...

Our clients are Windows 7, 64bit, with IE9.
We have a SharePoint 2007 farm (Windows 2003 Servers) and we would like to store EML files inside Document Libraries.

When a user clicks on an EML file we would like to open the file in Outlook 2010.
We have set the file association to open the EML files through Outlook in Windows but the files when a user clicks on an eml file are opened through IE9.

Any ideas ?

Hello,
Thanks for the link but what I want is to open the eml file directly through Outlook.
If I download the file and double-click on it, it opens in Outlook but when clicking on the link in SharePoint it opens in IE.
