Windows Media Player problem

I subscribe to a site which was fine when I had Windows Vista. I have just got a new computer with Windows 7 installed. I have tried to open the website but I get the following message - Windows Media Player is not installed or was not correctly registered as a plug-in.

Does anyone know what I need to do to rectify this

What web browser are you using?
I'm sure there's a way to apply WMP as a plugin depending on your browser, maybe even in the browser's options.

Welcome to Seven Forums tonyslim. As mentioned, more info will help. What browser are you using? Is it possible to tell us the page that gives you the problem? Do you use more then one browser, and if so, is the problem present in all?

My WMP 12 for Windows 7 is working terrible at this time and for quit some time. It freezes and the worst it will not Rip CDs? I have had Microsoft Tech Support "go through it" and never helped it. I am using an old PC-Compaq Presario to Rip and Burn CDs with and it's over 20 years old but my new desktop has a bad issue with WMP 12. Can anyone help?

Yes mate start with these and really you should have gone on your own thread but now you are here Disk Check and
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker the latter first.
