I can't open https (secure website) after IE 9 install.
I have installed IE 9 and reverted back to IE 8 at least 4 times - as I cannot open https:// sites such as www.chase.com. I am running 64 Bit Win 7 Professional on HP dv5-1125nr 64bit AMD machine that has 6GB of RAM and a partioned HD with lots of room. I have installed IE 9 and it displays most pages just fine, seems to be quicker as well. Just to be sure that there was no lingering effects I have reinstalled Windows, reinstalled all drivers, with the latest drivers available. During that process, with IE8 installed, I had quite a lot of problems getting Acrobat Reader, Adobe flash 64-bit, Adobe Flash 32 bit and Shockwave to download and install correctly. I even had trouble downloading those applications - What's up with that??(side issue?). I have read here and on the web and found indication that all of these last mentioned programs could contribute to IE 9 not working correctly. I have a large swap file, and sufficent Video. I am looking for any and all suggestions. I am running out of ideas and places to research this issue. Thanks to all for any suggestions.
