    Adventures With Firefox

As most of you know from my previous posts, I recently switched to Firefox and it is pretty good. I was able to import my Bookmarks OK, but now I have a new site I want to add. In Internet Explorer I would click on the Favorites and there was a place at the top for "Add to Favorites". I then could pick the folder I wanted the particular Bookmark in. It doesn't seem to give me the option to put the website in a particular folder as I have mine sorted. If you could step me through the process of saving a Bookmark, it would be appreciated. Thanks,

Can't do that with this ?

Just simple drag-drop with bookrmark icon will move it to a folder.

Or, right click on web page >Click on "Bookmark This Page" on context menu.

Then StalkeR's pix shot would pop up. Once you go to Choose you have the option to scroll to an existing Folder or create a new one.

I can get that menu up, but it only has the options in your screenshot. I must have twenty folders and they do not appear. When I click on "Choose" another window pops up but it does not have my folders either. What am I missing? ======== Nevermind. I got it. Thanks for your help.

    Mornin' bigmck,

FireFox(FF) has had this style of saving bookmarks(BK) at least since I've been using it (Version 2.0), and I have 11.0 now, what version are you using?

    What I usually do:
I'll right click on web page >Click on "Bookmark This Page" on context menu, this pops up.

Then I click on the down arrow where it says Bookmarks Menu, and this shows.

Where you can pick a previously chosen Folder or click on Choose.

If you do pick Choose then it changes to this.

Where you can scroll to, and click on a different Folder or create a new one.

If you you mis-sort a BK or new folder you can drag and drop within the BK toolbar, but sometimes it can be frustrating with different folders opening and closing too rapidly for you to place them right so click on Bookmarks in the Toolbar >Show all Bookmarks, and a new window will open where you can organize at your own pace.

Sorry that I late, was at faculty.

And glad to hear that it's solved.
