How to import Thunderbird archives to Outlook 2010

Have a bunch of old emails sorted in Thunderbird 10 as "Local Folders" and would like to access them (or reasonable copies thereof) in Outlook 2010. Can't figure out how to export fro TBird in a format the Outlook can import. Can't find any official help. Can't cope anymore, just can't.

Has anyone done this? Found a way, I mean.

If you can get your emails to .eml format you can simply drag them into outlook.

Check out this link, hopefully it will provide a little guidance.

How to Export Mail from Thunderbird to Outlook Express and Other Email Programs - About Email

I haven't use this utility myself, but I have imported emails into outlook from thunderbird by simply saving them as .eml files and then dragging them directly into outlook 2010. the mbox2eml utility (if I understand it correctly), allows you to do this by folder, which would be helpful if you have ALOT of emails you want to export/import.

If this doesn't help, please let us know, and we'll try something else...

Thanks for the tip. I think I can get them into .eml format, but haven't figured out how to archive them in Outlook (see my "Thunderbird Local Folders" thread).

They do drag over...but Outlook has no previewer to view them, so they're useless.
