    Email Notification Links

It seems to have started after updating Opera to it's latest version...at least I never saw this happen previously. If I select this website, or any other from SpeedDial, it displays the website normally. But if I select a email notification link, it takes me to the appropriate location, but not logged in as it should, and the favicon is something that I don't recognize, as can be seen below. What is going haywire, and how can I fix it?

EDIT: Even after logging in, the favicon doesn't return to it's usual design.

The favicon on the tab on the right is a private browsing icon. Right click the tab bar, and the 2nd choice is New private tab, and you'll see that icon.

Somehow your email notifications are opening in a private tab. Try this, open IE and make it the default browser.

Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options. Click the Programs tab, and then click Make default. Click OK, and then close Internet Explorer.

Now make Opera the default browser again.

Go to Settings > Preferences > Advanced > Programs. Tick the checkbox for Check if Opera is default browser on startup. Next time you start Opera, answer Yes when the dialog asks you if you want Opera to be the default browser on your computer.

See if that has fixed the association. A Guy
