I've never used anything other than Hotmail.

    Email clients are really nice
It makes it really easy to manage email accounts and email people. I have 5 email accounts that i need to keep up with and 3 that are REALLY important. Much easier than logging onto the website and checking your emails one by one.

Windows Live Mail Client works well if all you have is Windows Mail account. Its easy and has "eye candy".
I use thunderbird however i have also setup Office outlook email accounts, so if you have any problems let me know. I can probably help you out.

Seamless! I downloaded a hotmail connector for Outlook, entered my name/email/password and now have it setup!
