WLM 2009 Spell Check Languages

Tools>Options>Spelling>Languages used to have a list of available and installed languages. I noticed recently that the list now has only the four I installed for "English" and none listed as "available". In the Vista forums, Brink had posted a tutorial about how to fix that problem in Windows Mail with a registry fix for spelling related items in Windows Mail, but there doesn't seem to be a registry fix posted for WLM: Windows Mail Spell Check - Vista Forums

In attempting to fix the problem, I repaired WLE via Programs and Features and reestablished WLM as the default email program but it did not help. I also verified that spell check is still functioning.

If anyone besides me is still using WLM 2009, could you check under Tools/Options/Spelling/Languages to see if there is a list of "available" languages in addition to those already "installed". Just curious to see if the "available" list itself is created only when online, and if that list is no longer being made available to WLM 2009 installs.

That's exactly what I have now. Last year I'm sure there was a long list of "available" languages there as well.

IE 9 and Spell Check
Can anyone please explain to me why IE9 does not have a native spell-check capability? All other browsers seem to have it. Is there a technical reason that prevents IE from having this? Has MS ever explained why spell-check is not included as a feature of IE (especially in 9 Beta and RC)? Thanks
