    Help with Windows Live please.

So I go to check my hotmail online like I do everyday, only it says my account has been blocked.

Okay, this should be easy to fix right? I thought.

So I follow the links and it leads me to a page where I have to send a code to my backup email address which, like all hotmail users, I set up at around 10,000BC and have not used that address since. Luckily, despite 10s of thousands of new emails in my new address later, I still remember my old password for that account from so many years ago. I type it in, here's where the fun starts - that address does not exist anymore. God knows what happened to it; I haven't touched it in years.

The great part is that Windows Live won't let you send it to any other email address.

Long story short, I need to unblock my account but I can only do that by sending a code to an account that doesnt exist, reading it, then typing it back in to the account recovery thingy.

What the heck do I do now? Is it even possible to contact someone from microsoft?

Thank you all in advance. Also, I'm a new member. Hi!

Try the following link, it appears there is a way to use a mobile phone number to get reset information; I have never experienced this problem, so I don't know how helpful this site will be.

Why is my account temporarily blocked? - Unblock a temporarily blocked account

thanks for the reply, I appreciate it, but check this out:

'If you receive a message saying that your account is temporarily blocked, you can unblock it by using your mobile phone number to verify your account. To enter your mobile phone number, go to the Add a phone page. (You might be asked to sign in first.)'

OK. Based on the fact you can't sign in, this may cause a slight problem.
Sorry, I didn't catch that prior to posting.
