    ieframe.dll error when printing from IE


    When trying to print from IE (8 or 9) on Windows 7 64-bit, the below error appears and the user cannot print.

    Line: 2053
    Char: 1
    Error: Unspecified error.
    Code: 0
    URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js

    When I apply one of the fixes below it seems to fix it temporarily but the problem just comes back.
    • deleted temporary java files
    • uninstalled java
    • deleted all IE cache
    • run IE as administrator
    • restart PC
    • updated our web filtering software's certificate
    • installed Windows updates
    Any more ideas?

    Have you tried a different user? It's possible you have a corrupted user: Fix a corrupted user profile

For some reason, lately I am getting tons of crashes in IE, usually when I hit the 'back' arrow.. The error will look something like "res://ieframe.dll/acr_depnx_error.htm" With the website address following that.. What causes this? Can I fix it?
