    Emails for a small business with a custom domain


    My uncle has a small physiotherapy clinic made up of a 5 or so people. He already has a domain name registered for his website and wants to setup email accounts for all of his employees. Unfortunately, he nor I have no clue how to go about doing this so we need some help.

    I think what he wants is just a normal work email with 5 or 6 emails under the domain he's registered for the website. I have no idea how this works so please bear with me.

    It all depends on if the hosting he has offers email if that's the case then he would add the email addresses at the hosting control panel.

    If he has no mail on his web hosting then I'd go for Google apps free, that will allow you to setup mail for your domain for up-to 10 users Google Apps helps groups build communities ? Google Apps

    To setup something like the google option you will need to edit the MX records for the domain, but I think they explain it all quite well while running through the setup.

    I think he's using Wordpress to host so I'm assuming it doesn't have any built in email system.

    Anyway, I'll give him a call and see if I can explain all that to him.
