Windows 7: How do i change the default installation place

How do i change the default installation place

Everytime i download something it goes directly to my hard drive :E and i want it to go to my C: and i have tryed the browser settings but it doesnt work
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

If you mean everytime you download something in Internet Explorer, then the tutorial below should be able to help.

I tryed that but i mean like everything automatically installs to my :E drive and i want it to install to my c: drive
