    Windowas Live Mail outbox "blocked"

I have used WLM for some time now with no issues. Today I received a message asking me to invest in a product. I replied that I had no interest in it. My reply could not be sent as my mail system said it was too big for my mails server to handle.

I deleted most of the body of the message and resent it.

The result is that when I try to open WLM I get the "sending" window with a full green line and I cannot open anything else.

I have tried to shut it all down with Task Manager with no joy - my email is completely useless.

    Any suggestions please ?

Just to be sure download Malwarebytes and run it. If the outbox is still "blocked" we can navigate to it in an elevated CMD prompt from safe mode.

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
    Update it immediately.
    Do a full system scan
Let us know the results at the end.

Thanks for your suggestion - in the meantime I have actually solved it!!!! - I hadn't re-booted the PC but had only put it into hibernation so I tried a full re-boot and - hey presto, I could delete the outbox contents.

    Thanks, anyway, regards, Ian
