Remove IE9 Favorites link

Just got win7x64. If you choose the star in the upper right, then Favorites, when you hover over a site a link to it appears. I hate it. How can I maintain my Favorites list but eliminate seeing the link (virtual?) that accompanies it?

Using the tutorial below to disable pop-up descriptions should stop them for you.
