IE8 looses passwords and users ?

    A lot of users have reported this issue. One of the culprits is CCleaner. If you don't have the latest version, please update it.

    I don't use CCleaner at all, so this is not the fix.
    Defender is disabled.

    I don't know what else to try??

    ****, it did it again in my IE8. Every single username and password is "unknown" in IE8 now, in all the forums and sites I log into ... except my username in my homebank ?!?!?!

    Is there still not a fix for this annoying thing? If Microsoft can make a complete Windows 7, why can't they fix this?

    go to "Tools/Internet Options/GeneralTab/BrowsingHistory"
    and change the configurations like on this image
    it helped me keep password storage

    OK, that was a new solution :) +rep

    Like Burgurne I also has this annoying problem. Maybe somebody will figure out where to make a change i reg.database to avoid IE8 to delete usernames and passwords on this timelimit.
